Jonathan Carter – Vocal & Voice Squad
Jonathan is a classically trained baritone. He studied at the Royal Irish Academy Of Music in Dublin under the tutelage of Professor Paul Deegan. He has toured with Riverdance and performed throughout Europe as Guest Soloist for many choirs and musical groups from Denmark to Austria and France to the UK. He has won numerous awards at Feiseanna throughout the country including the coveted Dennis O Sullivan Medal and Baritone solo at Dublin Feis Ceoil. Despite a broad repertoire which spans such diverse styles as opera and oratorio to traditional/folk songs along with modern classics, Jonathan’s first love is Musical Theatre and In 2004 he won the AIMS award for Best Male Voice in his role as Emile de Becque in South Pacific. A veteran concert performer, Jonathan has sung in many prestigious locations including Schonbrunn Palace, Vienna and Monte Carlo Cathedral. He is currently continuing his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London working with world-renowned voice teachers Paul Farrington and Ann-Marie Speed.
